Knowledge to Knowhow 5

Knowhow 5

In this article, I would like to talk about the most popular topic of recent times ☺️ Agile company, employee and working model.

What does it mean to be agile? Being more flexible for companies or faster for individuals? More work with less resources for projects? I don't know what's on your mind about this, but I see that everyone has very different opinions...

What I understand is;
Agile Companies; Companies that have been able to adapt the formula of how to do a job, in the fastest and most effective way, in the "most flexible" way in terms of people, processes, interconnections, technology, time and working environment, to the culture and way of doing business. Of course within guidelines and limits.
And while doing these, companies that have been able to eliminate all meaningless performance targets that do not contribute to the result and efficiency. If you want to be an agile company, which is very important for adapting to the new world, you need to think under these 6 topics and become the most flexible and fastest running company.
When we say Agile Project Management:
We mean to work step by step by dividing the work into smaller parts, creating groups that will work much more concentrated and faster, and constantly including the end customer (maybe internal customer) in the work.
If I give you a very simple example; Instead of writing a book and sending the full manuscript to the publishing house for pre-reading, you divide the book into ten parts and send each part for pre-reading when it's finished. Thus, while reading the book on the one hand, you can continue to the new chapters on the other hand. More importantly, you can reshape the later parts with the comments from the first story/chapter. Therefore, you continue with feedback and correction at each stage. The Agile working model is not just a way of thinking, it is a process with very clearly named stages. It consists of about five steps. Identifying needs, estimating and dividing the total project into parts, setting priorities for each part, executing and reviewing plans. In a nutshell: working on a big topic/project by breaking it down into small parts and getting continuous customer feedback.

When we say Agile Ability; We are talking about employees and talents who are mentally and emotionally strong, who can adapt to changes quickly, who can manage and who are open to working result-oriented regardless of the conditions.

This subject is very deep and needs to be explained with many examples… In summary, I wanted to share what I had in mind. I hope I was able to express the framework. If you have examples of your additions, I would be happy if you write them in the comments. #agile #agility
