A lot of questions came up in the comments for the details of Marketing topics last week, I answered them. I think it was a good example, I will not repeat it.

In the meantime, I generally answer the comments, if you have any questions, please write them in the comments. Unfortunately, I cannot reply to one-to-one messages due to my time limits.

 

Another very important issue I learned in my job was how you can express your thoughts in writing most effectively. There is a very simple format that I still use ... Especially when writing to crowded groups and senior management, whatever subject you are writing about;

 

• Background
• Current Status
• Proposals (if any)
• Next Steps

 

Summarizing all your thoughts in the flow ...

You can also use this format in presentations.

Apart from the format, it is very important to be able to express the shortest and concise expression “in a way that does not even contain an unnecessary word ...” In my opinion, long articles are the sloppiest articles. If you read an article that you wrote couple times, you’d be surprised to find out how much shorter you could make it.
