Learning by Experience 17

Families never break.

As you know, the concept of leadership, which can clearly show compassion to the employees in the new world, has come to the fore ... Especially after Covid, it will be more important.

I saw this concept 25 years ago, thanks to my general manager in my 2nd company ...

As a central staff, I think we were a family of maximum 30 people. Why family? Because we shared it like family...

For example, in the afternoon if he gets himself pistachios, he would get 30 packages (with his own money). When it snowed, we would definitely go to the company with snow boots because we know that Faruk Bey will take us to the snowball together at around 11:00. 😁

When I gave my wedding invitation to him, he had spoken to me for at least 1 hour, and what he learned from his own experience and things to be careful about in his father's tone ... Even though it was a very busy moment.

While I was leaving to move to another company, he explained the things I should pay attention to in the new company one by one...

He was a very successful and super manager in his job, but this was something beyond the manager for what he did... I certainly learned from him that people can buy their time, but you must win their minds and hearts.

Finally; of course, we are still meeting with him and of course, we are still meeting with those 30 people. Why? Because families never break.
