A surprise...

In 2002, the work we did with different perspectives I brought from different sectors was very successful and brought a lot of attention. As a team, we defined ourselves as the Legendary Marketing Team. We have a What’s up group with this name, we are still meeting at least once a year 💕🙏🏻

So to speak, while working in 5th gear, we suddenly got the news that one day we will have a baby😳🥰 I cannot express our joy at that moment. However, immediately after I was driving like a high-speed train, I couldn't help thinking about how this would affect my career… After I got the news, I ran my general manager’s office, “I am not old in the company yet, but there is such a situation,” I said with some boredom. My manager was very happy, congratulated me, gave me confidence ... I cannot explain the happiness in me at that moment... In the following months, he called me one day and said, “Güldem, we are talking about a structure with the regional head, but your situation is important: what kind of leave do you want to use when you have a baby?”. He said we will plan accordingly. I said, with ignorant courage and ambition, "I’ll be at my job after 1.5 months". According to me, everything would be easy…
