rom the moment I woke up, all my stress and anxiety disappeared, I opened a completely different page.

I mentioned that although we had outstanding successes in 2008-2009, I was personally afraid of failing because I was trying to earn this “great title” which was given to me.

In September 2009, serious price changes occurred in the pharmaceutical industry. Until 2012, we had very difficult times in the 3-year period, we had to make very difficult decisions.

In my eyes, business success was about always achieving better than what was expected of me. However, in this 3-year period, we have never been able to achieve our budget etc. targets even if we "cracked".

Although the whole industry was in the same situation, I could not digress at all not being able to hit the target. It was clear that I was personally the dopamine-fueled type created by success. I was having withdrawal syndrome.

I instinctively opened alternative success areas for myself.

1. Presidency of the Sector Association, such as taking the vice-presidency of many associations ... I also thought that I could be much more useful in matters concerning the sector.

2. Although I love my company very much, I almost accepted the offer from a very important pharmaceutical company just to feel successful. It is good that we had such a sweet conversation

with our world president that I immediately rejected the offer. I will talk about this part separately.

3. We were constantly storming ideas😊 There were many projects.

I woke up one day while doing these, and I said: “Be sincere, gul, do you have any domestic or foreign candidates that you think can manage this company better and get better results under these conditions? " Did not have. So he finds you successful in the company, then stop judging yourself.

Then I said, "The responsibility of this company is for all teams as well as you, you should put an end to" one man show ". You need to get a lot more help ... This should include more emotional support for each other as well ...

Finally, it was a vain hope to assume that these major changes would one day pass ... I quickly realized that I had to implement a very serious, professionally supported change management plan.

From the moment I woke up, all my stress and anxiety disappeared, I opened a completely different page. There are a lot of details to mention, of course ...

Since September 2011, my definition of success had changed. Success was to be able to do the best in its class under the existing conditions and to be a team that could lock in not only good times but also bad times. If you could do these things, the question of whether to match the numbers could be left behind🙄 ...
