I sincerely did not regret it "for a moment"...

After accepting the change and setting it as the "main goal" to manage it in the best way, things got back on track. We've returned to super business and climate results.

Meanwhile, my experience as general manager in Turkey had completed 5 years ... Various new business proposals started to come from the company. However, once again I did not want to divide the family and go abroad, so I always postponed ... Our leader, who was the president of the World HR at that time, I love you very much, "Güldem, I understand you, but this is a race behind you, a lot of new talents are coming. You should not use it repeatedly. ”He warned me.

In 2014, I also received the Regional Presidency offer, which I normally call the role I want for the post-Turkey period, ️⭐️⭐️ But I had to move to Dubai and travel a lot🙄 I accepted it for 1 day, and the next day, considering all family matters, I unfortunately had to turn it down🤔

I think my refusal was my breaking point on the road to a world-class career. At some point, if you want huge roles in global companies, it is very important to be ready to focus your life according to the job. Full commitment!

Now I think about what would have happened now if I accepted that role in October 2014 ... but I sincerely did not regret it "for a moment "😊🤩It was a very conscious choice ...
