Learning by Experience 47

Today's post is a little different.

Today's post is a little different: It's about my sweet mother whom we entrusted last Sunday in Kanlıca Cementery. She was such a sweet, wonderful person❤️ may she rest in peace 🌹

What this experience made me think:

1. It is very important to attend weddings, funerals/condolences. In these two moments when a person is most emotionally sensitive, she is very extra grateful to those who are with her.

2. Blood ties (relatives) and life ties (friends) are also important. I am a person who is more concentrated in my life because I can only meet people with whom I can get along very well in social life. However, during this period, I was also influenced by kinship.

3. Everyone described my mother very clearly with 5-6 common values (honest, loving, optimistic, self-sacrificing, cheerful, non-human)… This is what it must be like to live with her values!

4. I thought my mother had a very successful life. There was no professional life. She left 3 children, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and hundreds of (not exaggerating) loving hearts that will always remember him. I think it is more valuable than leaving three mansions, four planes etc.

5. Maybe I took a step back in my career and returned to Istanbul in 2017, 90% of the reason for this was to be close to my mother during this period, which I guess was the last years of her life. I'm glad I'm back... The memories of the last 4 years are priceless to me🙏🏻

Rest in peace MOM❤️❤️
